The College of Humanities and Design at Lunghwa University of Science and Technology, dedicated to fostering humanistic literacy as the cornerstone of its education while nurturing talents in digital design and media marketing with a focus on innovative thinking, is committed to promoting interdisciplinary innovation and qualitative experiences, particularly emphasizing international cooperation and exchange. Recently, Professor Moli Ye, the dean of the College of Humanities and Design, led a delegation of faculty members to the Communication Arts College at Bangkok University in Thailand for extensive exchanges aimed at broadening the college’s international perspectives and promoting cooperation in communication and media marketing between the two institutions.

Established in 1962, Bangkok University is one of Thailand’s oldest, largest, and most esteemed private universities. During the visit, the delegation from the College of Humanities and Design engaged in discussions with the Communication Arts College faculty members, focusing specifically on film and media arts. They also participated in roundtable discussions with students. They toured professional teaching facilities such as the three-machine production studio, control room, and new media recording studio, gaining valuable insight into Bangkok University's teaching and research achievements in film and television.

Dean Moli Ye emphasized that this exchange offered the college opportunities for collaboration with Bangkok University, particularly in curriculum design, practical activities, and professional knowledge sharing. Through close face-to-face interactions between faculty and students from Lunghwa University and Bangkok University, mutual understanding was facilitated, laying a solid foundation for deeper academic cooperation.

Dean Ye expressed that through this exchange, Lunghwa University can share its expertise and experience in communication arts with Bangkok University while learning from its successes in this field. This collaboration will actively facilitate short-term academic exchanges and visits between faculty and students of both institutions. The Department of Multimedia and Game Development Science and the Department of Cultural Creativity and Digital Media Design will design professional courses covering areas from AR and VR applications to design thinking and media practices. This academic exchange will provide Bangkok University students with diverse and broad learning perspectives and offer Lunghwa students more opportunities for enriching academic and exchange experiences, enabling them to apply their knowledge in the workplace and excel as comprehensive talents in the digital audiovisual industry.
