Introduction

The Office of the Secretary is a staff unit responsible for coordinating task developments of operating units in accordance with the directives issued by the President and the Vice-President. Aside from regular routine, the office has the responsibility to draft and execute principal projects, study and revise critical school regulations, promote administrative automation and delegation of responsibility, simplify administrative procedures, and elevate administrative efficiency, etc. Major tasks are as follows:

  1. Coordinating with each unit for task development and helping out with solutions;
  2. Preparing agendas for holding School Conferences and Panel Discussions;
  3. Rationalizing administrative operations and and evaluating standardization;
  4. Tracking each unit on the implementations of principal projects and the execution of resolutions proposed in unit meetings;
  5. Coordinating task plans among units;
  6. Reviewing and forwarding official documents and auditing expenditures;
  7. Archiving related school regulations and data;
  8. Chronicling school history and recording major events;
  9. Supervising bidding, pricing, and price negotiation meetings for major constructions and purchases;
  10. Arranging the itineraries for the President, Vice-President and Chief Secretary and drafting and recording their correspondence;
  11. Updating the webpages of the Offices of the President, the Vice-President and the Chief Secretary and processing their E-mails;
  12. Managing and maintaining the property of the Offices of the Chairman of the Board, the President, the Vice-President and the Chief Secretary;
  13. Responding and processing E-mails from teachers and students through administrative information system;
  14. Investigating and analyzing the survey of campus administrative satisfaction;
  15. Arranging the visitations and receptions of off-campus corporations, organizations and institutions;
