Department Introduction

The Department of Cultural Creativity and Digital Media Design was established in 2012 with the aim of nurturing talents in audio-visual media production and cross-disciplinary integration within the field of product design. In response to the evolving industrial landscape and market demands, our department offers a comprehensive curriculum centered around "Cultural Creativity," encompassing two major fields: "Product Design" and "Audio-Video Media." Our curriculum is designed to foster students' skills in visual aesthetics, innovative product design, 3D computer graphics, video planning and production, digital audio-visual editing, and other essential abilities for future careers.

Upon graduation, our students are well-prepared to pursue a variety of design-related occupations, including roles such as visual designers, packaging designers, industrial product designers, process designers, and commercial designers. Furthermore, they possess the potential to excel as cultural and creative specialists in positions such as location directors, studio directors, photographers, editors, program producers, film practitioners, film and television planners, lighting engineers, drama directors, journalists, self-media celebrities, new media podcast producers, sound engineers, and production supervisors.

Professional Facilities

Our department takes pride in its state-of-the-art facilities that provide extensive support for students' learning and practical experiences. These facilities include visual printing experience workshops, digital audio-visual classrooms, professional studios, recording studios, computer classrooms equipped with cutting-edge tools for professional audio-visual editing, sketching and painting classrooms, fashion media studios, three-dimensional modeling workshops, 3D printing laboratories, digital 3D modeling computer classrooms, dry spray booths, and other advanced professional application equipment.

Furthermore, we offer comprehensive teaching resources and a range of professional equipment available for students to borrow, such as notebook computers, high-end cameras and lenses, professional photography tripods, professional radio equipment, digital drawing boards, and more. Additionally, our educational resources encompass laser engraving machines, CNC engraving machines, 3D printing machines, vacuum forming machines, UV ink direct injection machines, hot stamping machines, embroidery machines, studios, recording studios, and various other equipment accessible to students within the school premises.
