Innovation and Incubation Center

I.Mission

The Innovation and Incubation Center, under the Office of Research and development, has been tasked to assist small businesses in their technical improvement for products and production as well as in the development and design of software for games and management of production flow. It is hoped that this Center would transform the role of our school from elevating only technology into value-added technology; at the same time, it is expected that, in compliance with the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ “featuring the traditional industries, serving the production industries, internationalizing the service industries and technologizing” policy, we would develop ourselves to become an incubation center that features innovative service as our nuclear value and helps businesses unshackle the bondage of traditional equipment manufacturers to become a highly value-added industries through service and value adding of cultural creativity.

II.Objectives

  1. Short-term objective: To promote the school’s academia-industry collaboration through integrating our existing resources and offering task-oriented support to neighboring small businesses to help build up better environment for incubating value-added industries.
  2. Mid-term objective: To establish a total solution mechanism to help neighboring small businesses move forward in a more stable transforming direction.
  3. Long-term objective: To help neighboring small businesses transform themselves to become industries capable to meet keen competition with our cross-unit/nation integrated total solution mechanism; and to make the operation of this Center become fully independent with the cash reward feed-backed by the benefited businesses.
